About UsJohn Andrew Goodale is the Director of Bands at Quail Hollow Middle School. He received a degree in Music Education from Winthrop University in 2016. While at Winthrop, he participated in the Wind Symphony, Swingin' Eagles Jazz Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber ensembles. In the summer of 2015, John Andrew marched with the Bluecoats, a world class Drum and Bugle Corps based out of Canton, Ohio. During that summer the Bluecoats received the Bronze medal at World Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. Outside of the classroom, he can be found assisting Charlotte area marching bands, golfing, or backpacking.
